TVJ

     Now this record is funny. Played it for the first time last night. I was laughing while listening to it. It was recorded by Tito Vic & Joey (TVJ) thru Sunshine Records. TVJ is composed of Vic Sotto, Tito Sotto, and Joey de Leon they are all accomplished musicians and actors. Up till now they are still active in showbizz  here in the Philippines and you can regulary catch them on their noontime show Eat Bulaga which is shown on GMA7.

     Side A has the song entitled Anak…. ng Kuwan, it is parody of the song Anak by Freddie Aguilar also an accomplished musician here in the Philippines. With lyrics like “nung isilang ka sa mundong ito laking asar ng magulang mo at ang kamay nilay kinagat mo” (when you were born in this world your parents were annoyed then you bit their hand.) Also another lyrics “at ang lolo at lola mo hindi malaman ang gagawin minamasdan pangit nilang apo” (and your grandfather and grandmother doesnt know what to do they are just staring at your ugly face.) If you dont laugh at that i dont know what will. The Song was also taken from their album TVJ tough hits vol. 3.

     Side B has the song Beatles Department. It is a parody of different songs of the Beatles that is compressed into one. The song was released in their album TVJ Tough hits vol.2. The song has the same catchy tunes just like the Beatles and the lyrics is a combination of english and tagalog. If your looking for a 45rpm record that will make you laugh I definitely recommend you listening to this one. It will surely put a smile in your face.
