Its Been A Hard Day’s Night… Beatles

The Beatles is one the greatest and most influential English rock band of their era. They were formed in Liverpool England during the 60’s. They are composed of George Harrison, Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and Ringo Starr. Their music genre mostly concentrates on rock and pop. The 60’s was also the time of Beatlemania wherein their popularity skyrocketed not only in England but also in the rest of the world. Even here in the Philippines I can remember that my parents and grandparents were big Beatles fans.
Since it is still early I decided to look for another 45 vinyl record to listen to and I Found this record. The songs that is included here are A Hard Day’s Night and Things We Said Today both came from their LP entitled A Hard Day’s Night. The vinyl was dirty, like for some of the vinyl I cleaned it with soap and water then dried it with cotton cloth. When I played it on my turntable there was visible background noise but not that much and the record has some light scratches. The vinyl was Philippine Pressed by Dyna Records under license from Parlophone Company.
The first song in this 45 vinyl is A Hard Day’s Night. Tracktime is about 2:32 and it was released on July 10, 1964. It was produced by George Martin and written by Lennon and McCarty. It was also used as a soundtrack for the movie of the same title in the same year as it was released. It topped the charts both for the UK and the US music charts. The song for me is about a harworking man that works almost all day and nigh t and he doesn’t have any regrets because he knows when he gets home someone is waiting for him to make everything feel alright.
The second song on the record is entitled Things We Said Today. Tracktime is 2:38 and it was released on July 10, 1964. It was produced by George Martin and it was written by Lennon and McCarthy. It was also used as a soundtrack for the movie A Hard Day’s Night. For me this song is about a lovers conversation about their feelings for one another and they think that they will be together for a long time. And when they are old they would always reminisce about this converstion about how they love each other.
