Celeste Saranggola Ni Pepe

     Listened to another OPM (Original Pilipino Music) the singer was Celeste Legaspi. She started her singing career in 1977 and recieved numerous awards in her career. She was a singer and an actress. She is also one of the pioneers of Manila Sound and OPM. Her 45 record is under the label of Blackgold Records it was Philippine pressed. Both of the songs in this 45 record came from her LP entitled Ako At Si Celeste.
    The first song in her 45 record is Saranggola Ni Pepe tracktime is 2:12, it was written by Nonoy Gallardo. It was arranged by Eddie Munji and produced by Bert de Leon. The song Saranggola Ni Pepe means the Kite of Pepe. The song is about the dreams of a child. And it says that the child has big dreams and the flying of the kite is a methapor to his dreams.
    The second song is Lahat ng Gabi Bawa’t Araw tracktime is 4:53 and it was written by Tito Arevalo. The song was arranged by Eddie Munji and produced by Bert De Leon. Lahat Ng Gabi Bawa’t Araw is a Tagalog translation of All The Nights Every Day. The song is about a woman searching for his lost love. She says that every day every night she is longing for the love of someone who she lost.
