Four pieces of scrap flood light just came in my junkshop.
When I Looked closely I saw that it was made by Appleton. I did a little bit of research and according to their website it is an American Company which was founded during the year 1903 and it produce manufactures lighting fixtures, electrical fittings, plugs and receptacle, control stations, distribution panels and more.
The four units that I got is named Appleton Areamaster Outdoor Flood light. It is mainly used for outdoor shopping malls, parking lots, hotels, and other outdoor venues that needs lighting at night. It is all weather proof and energy efficient. Brand new retails for roughly 36,900 Philippine Peso (830 USD.)
We just weighed it as scrap steel. We were about to throw it together with our other steel scraps when one of my men said that it can still be repaired and be used again. Thinking of just getting it repaired and I will just install it in our warehouse if the repair and parts would not cost that much or if ever someone will buy it I will just sell it to make a profit.
